Salem receives an offering during services every fifth Sunday of the month to support the orphan, child and youth care of the Children's Home in Enterprise and Madison Florida. Children receive spiritual, educational, physical and physiological support. For more information Click Here.

A partner ministry of eight United Methodist churches in Gadsden and Liberty county Florida.  Each church provides scheduled volunteers and donated items for the store located on State Road 12 in Greensboro, FL. 32330, (take exit 174 off Interstate 10, west towards Quincy). Salem UMC serves the 4th (& 5th) Saturday of each month.

This local community supports a food distribution, counseling, and thrift shop that is open to the public.  The thrift shop is open Wednesdays, 9:00 am -  11:00 am and Saturdays, 9:00 am – 3:00  pm.  Food distribution is available Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9:00 am -  11:00 am.  Community Cares is located  at 118 SW 3^rd  St. Havana, FL. 32333.   Phone (850) 539-5349.  Volunteers are needed to help sort, stock and sell donated items. Proceeds support local families in need of assistance. Food donations may be dropped in the basket in the back entrance hall; the church delivers the donations the fourth Sunday of the month.

A ministry for young women originating with Salem UMC that is located on the campus of Tallahassee Heights United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Florida. This ministry works with young women from dependency and needy situations who need a hand up to become the person they have the potential to be . This two year residence-based program helps teach skills of living a successful life and having positive impact on their community. For more information Click Here.
